What Is a Ganglion Cyst?

Treatment
- Limit movement: Since activity can cause it to grow, wear a splint or a brace to help keep that joint from moving. This is not a cure, as wearing a brace too much will cause muscle weakness.

- Surgery: Your doctor may decide this may be an option, especially if other approaches fail to work.
